At first Ellie didn't want anything to do with the playdough, but eventually she loved playing with her cousins, and the playdough.

In the morning, after our Krispy Kremes trip, which I forgot the camera, oops, :( we went swimming. They loved it. Of course we didn't have Maggie or Ellie anymore.

Here are Taycee Summer, Amalee, and Ray. After Krispy Kremes we stoppped at the dollar store and they each got to get 1 thing, Here they are with their choices: Taycee: fake nails, Summer Jo: Bug catcher, Amalee: polly pocket, and Ray: water squirter.

They all loved doing puzzles, we did this before we began our pizza, playdough, cookies, etc...They love eachother so much, and look forward to the times they can be together. I am so glad that Abram told me about His grandma, and that she did this. I am a lucky grandma to have such wonderful grandchildren, that love to be with me too. I know eventually each one will not want to come, but that is a ways away I hope.

We had so much fun!

I love grandmas night. They love eachother, and this gives them an opportunity to be together. I need to be more consistant and do them every month. Maggie and Ellie didn't spend the night, they are not quite ready, although Maggie will next time I think.

Women's Conference

Wow! I wish I had gone before. I didn't know about it for a long time, and then when I did, I couldn't get away from work. I wish I knew that the girls only needed to be 16 to go. I took Julie with me, she loved it, and so did I. I feel spiritually energized, and ready to go. I love my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I love the prophet and his apostles. I just love the gospel and feel blessed to be a member of his church. OH how spiritually fed I became. I could leave the world for 2 days, and renew myself with words of wisdom. I wish this was more often. If you haven't been, you would love it. If you have been, I know you know what I am talking about. Julie and I will always try to go every year. Next year, we are all going. My daughters and I. Exciting!!!!

The flowers were so beautiful at the Salt Lake Temple. We stayed for hours just watching couples come out of the temple, and enjoying the weather, and the beauty of the temple grounds.

Someday that will be Julie, but of course not in Utah, at the Mesa Temple.

It was a tad bit cold, but oh how we enjoyed it.

Don't we look happy, and relaxed? We were!

Baby Justin Hargrave came into the world early this morning at 3:47 a.m. weighing 8 pds. 2.1 ounces, 201/2 inches long. He is beautiful, healthy and strong. He has the cutest little cry.

I was so privileged to witness this birth. Kristina did a wonderful job, and both are doing awesome. He is such a cutie. We love our new grandson so much. Congrats Kristina and Justin!!!

They had so much fun making their bunny masks, and wearing them for the Easter Egg Hunt. They had a wonderful day.

This was so much fun. The tide goes in and out quickly, and every few minutes you get a huge spray of water. If you look over the edge and down, it is a long drop, so the water spray is wonderful to watch, and you can get quite wet.

Dawn's Primary Learning Center went to Superstition Dairy!!! Fun!!!

The kids lined up to feed the horse a carrot. They were kinda scared but they did it anyway, and then they loved it. The horse was so good with the kids.

Jarae did an awesome job feeding the horse.

The kids got to feed the goats with their hands through the fence. Some of them were more afraid to do this than feeding the horse.

This is when we were in a class to learn about what they do at the dairy. The man asked them if they like ice cream. They of course raised their hands for that one. There was another school at the dairy too. Not all of those kids are in my class. Thanks so much to my parents for chaperoning. They were so much help. We had so much fun, and the ice cream was so good too.

This is the dress that I made for my brother Allan's baby girl Bryleigh. This is Rebekah and Bryleigh after the blessing at their house in Redlands. We were lucky to be able to attend.

If you like this dress, and would like to have one made, let me know. I will tell you how much and you can decide fabric and color of accents. This was fun to make, and I love making blessing dresses.

I loved having all my kids together, and of course better, to have my camera with me. Or should I say Julie's camera. Look at cute little Ellie in the yellow sweater, cute huh!!!! Ellie is Mike's daughter, she is 16 months old. Youngest to oldest: left to right: Julie 18, Gregory 21, Ashley 24, Michael 26, Kristina 27, and Deena 29!! Wow, how time has flown by. I can't believe I have no kids in high school, and I have almost 12 grandchildren. Kristina is due in April 09 with a baby boy! We are excited. Right now we have 4 grandson, and 7 granddaughters, but soon 5 grandsons!!

The kids loved the puppies. They had so much fun petting them, and letting them lick their hands, and holding them in their laps. Thanks Matt for bringing them to show and tell.

The kids loved making their own vest out of grocery bags, and then coloring them to add their own touch. They also loved having a new indian head band too. They enjoyed all the yummy food that their parents donated for our yummy feast.

Wow!!! What a wonderful day at the Zoo. We had so much fun. Look at their faces. We just love eachothers company and try to be together as often as we can. The zoo seems to be the perfect place for this. We go and have fun, eat, and walk the zoo. From left: Sammy, Amalee, Summer Jo, Matty, Maggie, and Summer. I can't believe that Julie can lift Matt up on her back. I am sure they had fun with all their friends at Red Mountain park. Someone's birthday, but I don't know which friend. Matt got his mission call. He is going to the Ukraine. He is to report to the MTC on January 28th, 2009. We will miss him, but he will have a wonderful time.

My mom sent me an email this morning. I was actually thinking some of these thoughts before the email, but I was still worried about my childrens future as well as my grandchildrens future. With the election over, and Obama as our new leader, I have to have a deeper faith, greater strength, and a deeper devotion to the Lord. We all need to pray even harder, more often, and keep the faith, that the Lord will not leave us in our time of need. The following is what was sent to me from my mom in Norway:

This is my sweet class this year. I just love them. They are so eager to learn, and of course so fun to teach. They have so much energy, I wish I could bottle their energy in a jar, and take some every morning. I couldn't have asked for a better group of kids. I am so lucky!!!

On the Labor Day River run we only had Mike, Chelsea, Ellie, Julie, Greg, and Herman and I. As for friends we had Julie's boyly friend Matt, and Matt's friend Bulley. On Friday night my Nephew Ben and his wife Sarah, their son Seth, and baby girl Tegan arrived, and then on Sunday my nephew Shawn and his wife Denise, and their daughter Riley came, with some of their friends too. So we had a nice group. But we missed our other kids, they were busy this weekend. We did have a blast though. If you want to come with us (anyone) let us know, and we will see what we can do. Fun Fun in the Sun!!!

Wow!!! The first week of Preschool went by so quickly. I have a wonderful class this year. They are so willing to learn, and so much fun to watch. They are so cute. I do miss having Taycee this year. She was such a big help last year, as she was already reading, so she even did reading time sometimes for me. She loved that. I am not full in my 3 year old class though. So, if you know of any 3 year olds that are in need of preschool, let me know. Have a wonderful school year!!!

I usually don't write much, just post pictures and fun video's of the family. But, just wanted everyone to know that all is going well with the Spier clan. We are still having fun, actively doing things weekly, and sometimes even more, with each other. We love our Heavenly Father, and try daily to remember all that he has done for us. We would be lost without our love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are very fortunate to know it's truthfulness, and we are very blessed. We hope all is well with all of you, and know that we think of you and love you too.
